GIBI GLOBO JUVENIL MENSAL
In PORTAL ZINE #41, Second Quarter 2002 Jose Pinto de Queiroz Filho wrote an article about the Hangman. Hangman, in Portuguese, means literally, Enforcer so he was called “O Vingador“ instead, (Portuguese is the language of Brazil). He first appeared in GLOBO JUVENIL MENSAL # 17. In the 1940’s the MLJ Heroes were published in “GLOBO JUVENIL MENSAL“, their version of Pep Comics.
The Comet first appeared in Brazil in the pages of the GIBI MENSAL #238, September 1940.
