Intro: MIGHTY CRUSADERS #1, November 1965

ORIGIN: Thornaldo was one of several henchmen the Brain Emperor gathered together to fight the Mighty Crusaders. He challenged the Shield to battle, gloating that his potion-tipped thorns could destroy anything. There was not much of a battle, as the Shield threw a rope around him and knocked him down a ravine filled with quicksand.
