That image does not bode well, at least to me. Not into the whole "grim and gritty" super hero thing. even the name Dark Circle rather than Red Circle worries me about the future of characters I enjoy. I really would like Archie to put out some fun, relatively light-hearted comic super hero comics, or at least melodramatic rather than graphically violent and depressing. Still hoping for the best from the Hangman but preparing for the worst.

While I yearn for an all-ages take on the Crusaders/MLJ stable, I cannot see it happening.

Consequently, for me Dark Circle is yet another interpretation of a set of characters. I have enjoyed Black hood 1-3, which in turn bodes well for this for me.
