I take it you're excited about the new DC Comics run of Mighty Crusaders (and related characters?  I'm SO relieved that it's not another "rethinking" but that they're actually going to use their actual costumes/origins etc..  Hearing that, I thought to myself "HOW are they going to make The Web's costume work?" and came up with the solution -- what if John were somehow disabled and unable to be the Web?  What if Rose took up the name and costume and continued to fight crime?  Imagine the tension it would create on the both of them.  I think it's a cool idea (of course), but I imagine DC already has their plans well mapped out.  Anyway, I think Rose looks way better in the costume.  I got rid of the collar, as I always thought it was hard to imagine someone not getting constantly blind-sided with a collar like that.  While my imagination was running wild I decided to give her a web-like cape that allows her to glide (ala Spider-Woman).  I thought a good origin for the cape might be that during a Crusaders misson Rose met with the race that gave The Fly his ring/powers and they gave her the cape.

I whipped up the this parody of All Star Comics No. 3 featuring the Mighty Crusaders after seeing that the next issue of Alter Ego is dedicated to MLJ Comics. I realize that Mr. Justice isn't/wasn't a member of the Crusaders, but he seemed the perfect choice to sit in for the Spectre at the table.
