PRESS RELEASE ARCHIE COMICS

ARCHIE COMIC PUBLICATIONS, INC.

HERE'S A NEW TWIST ON

THE TEENAGE WITCH!

Since Archie Comics first announced the addition of Tania del Rio to its creative ranks, the response from fans and the press alike has been non-stop! Countless articles have been written and letters and e-mails received in anticipation of the bold, new direction Tania has in store for Sabrina the Teenage Witch!

Come this summer, the wait will be over. SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH #58 will be the first full-length issue written and drawn by del Rio. Following on the heels of SABRINA #51, which introduced Shinji and the new "manga makeover" look of Sabrina, Tama really gets things rolling in SABRINA #58! Using the "shojo" style of "manga" (Japanese romance comics) to tell her tale, Tania introduces a thrilling new world of romance and relationships to Sabrina's life!

In "Spellfreeze," fellow witch Shinji decides to do a charm school project on how mortals can live without magic and he winds up an exchange student at Sabrina's high school. Before too long, there's a new "love triangle" in Archie Comics-- this time, between Sabrina, Harvey and Shinii! It's a landmark issue you won't want to miss!
