So there are about half a dozen of us on this forum (being charitable!) and over at the official Red Circle forums (where i am banned anyway) there are about two people, not counting Ian Flynn and his admin army.

So i know that New Crusaders must have been some sort of sales success, since comics generally (well, with DC comics anyway) have to sell over 10,000 copies each issue to justify continued publication. Someone mentioned here that the Red Circle twitter channel has a few hundred followers, so i reasoned there must be other comics forums out there for Red Circle fans*.

And i found one, here it is: http://www.archiefans.com/forum/

It's for the whole Archie line, which includes Red Circle. It's non-official, and seems generally good natured.

So, i'll see you over there, i guess! And maybe we can cross promote this forum too, to people over there. It's always nice to bring people together who have similar interests i think.

* I am a "Red Circle" fan, and i'm also a fan of Will Eisner/The Spirit, and JSA/Justice Society/Golden Age comics in general - in fact if any of you guys are fans of those too, there's nothing to stop us discussing those in specific threads on this forum as well, it might get the discussion level up a bit.

Although Iam not likely to add another forum to the suite I enjoy, it is good there is more out there.

Forums as a social medium seem to be surpassed by other options such as FB, Twitter etc, so long-term the boards will probably remain 'quiet'.

you're right, i have noticed this.
It's unfortunate since FB doesn't have the dedicated space for communities that actual website forums have.
Well, as usual i think the features were better, of stuff we used to have in the good old days.

As i get older, i am going to become a really difficult to deal with old man, i can tell!
