It's a Mighty Crusaders issue with an article by me and the Captain.

Really enjoyed the article; however it left me wanting a little more. With so many distinct and discreet incarnations, I think a critical comparison of the various eras and iterations of the MLJ heroes would be welcome to this reader.

Alter Ego 82 is filled with cool stuff for MLJ fans, a lot of it is checklist stuff (invaluable to some, almost worthless to others) but it does also have a ton of good articles and interviews you just can't get elsewhere, such as this sort of thing:

PS - i would have posted images rather than links but couldn't figure out how to resize these to fit on the page.

Thank you. Yeah, same with me. I can't figure out how to post the covers, either.
Thanks for the links, though.
Maybe somebody can put both covers up together. That would be nice.

Both Alter Ego # 82 and #96 are really nice to have. You are right. There are 'tons of good articles and interviews you just can't get elsewhere."

I really like the covers...and to me, it's almost worth the price of the books just for the great covers!!
(But I'm a dreamer, and I'm hoping and dreaming that a good number of our heroes return to the comicbook pages soon.)[See: No "in-touch with reality" for me.!! ,!-- s:D -->:D,!-- s:D --> ]

I'm still hoping for a Shield-Wizard re-union.
I am surprised that The Shield and The Wizard did come together a few times....even in "Boy Buddies" ...which always is fun to see.
Again, thanks!!
