The factory attacked the investigation team. In order to preserve lives and avoid a major disaster, the team was forced to use an experimental device called a psionic converter, which used disruption and psychic energy. When the machine shifted from reality to the psychic plane, it took back with it a hitch-hiker, a witch, Ms Mystic. She joined them to battle against the renegade factory.
