Archie Comics – Your Partner In Charitable, Community

 Or Organizational Promotion

For over 60 years, Archie Comics has epitomized positive entertainment for kids and teens.  In addition to entertaining young readers, the publishers of Archie Comics recognize – and embrace – their responsibility of encouraging pro-social values.  Through the years, the pages of Archie Comics have tackled significant issues faced by our kids—and Archie Comics is committed to ensuring that its famous characters and fun-filled stories continue to inspire and encourage today’s youth.

As a result of their positive influence among kids and teens, Archie, Betty, Veronica, Reggie and Jughead are sought after as spokes-characters by community and governmental organizations nationwide.

This past summer, Archie and his friends joined together with Westchester County (New York) to publish a custom-written Archie comic book dealing with issues that confront pre-teens and teens. Distributed through the county's Office of Drug Prevention and Stop-DWI to middle schools throughout the county, Archie, Veronica, Betty and Jughead address such significant societal issues as underage drinking and how to resist peer pressure; bullying, what to do about it and how to help someone else;  school-related stress; and communicating with parents.

As part of the campaign, Westchester County has also designed ads for county buses (internal and external) and a television commercial. The entire effort is funded by fines from drunk-driving arrests that, by law, must be used on public education programs.

Applauded by local educators, parents and media, the Westchester County program represents one of numerous past and current initiatives involving Archie Comics and civic and charitable groups.

Archie Comics would be delighted to work with your community organization – and reach kids and teens with inspiring messages that will help set them on the path towards adulthood.

The publishers of Archie Comics invite organizations interested in joining with Archie and his friends to contact:
