Aug 10, 2012 – Ralph Hardy once followed a ghostly jaguar into a ruins site deep in the jungle.  There he found the Belt of Varigon and became the Jaguar – champion of the animal kingdom and one of the first Mighty Crusaders!

Ivette Velez hasn’t had nearly as happy a story.  She is a first generation immigrant, with her parents lost to a drunk driver when she was very young.  Alone and scared, she’s grown up hidden inside her shell.  Ralph was her supervisor at the Impact City Zoo where she volunteered.  He was unlocking Ivette’s true potential – but as a person, or was he grooming her for something more
