Reggie is the kid who has to be the first on his block to have everything -- the latest toy, high-tech gadget, car, you name it – mostly so he can brag about it. Forget the iPhone, Reggie already has the jPhone.
Unfortunately, he’s also the guy who sets up all his new toys without reading the directions so he can show everyone he has them – then has to deal with the consequences when there are bugs in the system or everything falls apart. Though not a poor kid, Reggie never has any money. The second he gets some, he buys something new and cool with it – then can’t afford to repair it, because he’s on to buying the next thing. As a result, he’s happy to go to lunch with you…If you pick up the tab.
Reggie adopts the pose and swagger of a “bad boy,” mostly to impress people or attract girls, but while he’s charismatic, he’s not quite as charismatic as he thinks he is. And aside from a prank now and then (usually at Archie’s expense), he never really does anything bad on purpose. More often, his sarcastic mouth writes checks his butt can’t cash – He talks a big game, getting himself into trouble that his friends have to extricate him from. Reggie has a well-known big mouth…it’s because he wants attention so badly.
